I'm back...can you believe it?

So as promised, I have returned this
very day...as said... to show you all the freshly made over light fitting.

I hadn't planned on adding the ribbons but when I attached the cutlery, it looked a little naked.

It just needed to be softened.

I really like the thick, ribbed glass of the actual shade.

One day, I might add some rosy charms in white tones to make it very special but not for now
as I have had trouble keeping enough in the shop to sell.

Which reminds me!
Enough playing. Perhaps some soldering is in order.

Smiles,
Angela.

Today

Today I'm in my studio with some of the things I love.
It's a foggy, rainy day so I think it's the place to be today.

My dad buys up old furniture to knock apart to use the timber and sometimes he finds really cool things like this old Italian label. Too nice to throw away, I found a spot for it.

One of the things I'm going to do today is to makeover this budget light fitting.
The glass shade is actually very lovely....sort of like the glass shades in the Nordic style. I'm sure with a lick of white paint and some old cutlery I'll be able to make it into something a little more special. If all goes according to plan I'll be back later with a photo....wish me luck : )

Home

I have been enjoying my home of late. Just a few things I heart at the moment.
