And finally I have been painting. And shure I got time to make a pillow case :) I am not longer working, so I have all my time to use for my study and making things for Aina`s Charm. I love so much what I am doing right now, and I hope that I will be finnished soon.
I just visited Cathy and she told me that you have been visiting her. How is work going? You were SO right. Reading all my interior decorating and gardening magazines is driving me crazy. I want to redo my house and garden at once. I think its the resizing of pictures I find most tedious. If I could figure it out, there may be a setting on my camera that will take the picture in a small enough size...??

Those books look wonderful! Grab a cup of coffee or a glass of tea and a comfy chair and you've got the makin's for a lovely afternoon!

Look forward to reading more of your posts!

Kimberly :)Niesz Vintage Homehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11952472758360034508noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6319234041243832612.post-82736103643429157202008-02-12T23:14:00.000+10:002008-02-12T23:14:00.000+10:00I am sooo happy to hear from you again Angela!! I ...I am sooo happy to hear from you again Angela!!
I have missed you dearly and your always beautiful posts. Thank you for dropping by and letting me know that you are back on track :))
What a wonderful summer for you and your family, luckily not to hot for you all. I was thinking, "no Aircondition"? wow, I think I couldn`t have lived without it. But I am shure that the heat "Down Under" is a bit different to here. Here the air get so moisty, you hardly can`t breath.
I am quite jealous of you, having this lovely garden filled with this great vegetables path, they are huge!! What do you normal make out of it? I am curious about The Australian food habits. Do you eat fish a lot? I love fish :) It is a Typical Norwegain hot meal. Salmon is my favourite :) I am soo into food myself. A bit too much maybe, haha..My dream is to attend an Italian cooking class. Love Italian food!

And I shure love books too. Your new books looks so fresh and interesting. Beautiful choice of colours.. I recently heard about a very pretty looking cookbook. It is called : Falling Cloudberries: A World of Family Recipes.
And another : Apples for Jam: A Colorful Cookbook.
Both are written by Tessa Kiros. They are both on my wishlist.
Lovely looking cookbooks Makes making food so much more fun!

I am very interested in hearing more about your new projects, and I am shure it will be great. When you were away I have been visiting Cathy, and she told me about you making Charms together. Fun!

Well, I will pay you a visit more often now, now I know that you will making posts more frequently. I wish you a good and "cold" week Angela, enjoy your garden and take care!
Big hug from your friend up North :))
Aina x

February 12, 2008 11:12 PMMODERN COUNTRYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10002515402843289460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6319234041243832612.post-40619548442911966892008-02-12T23:12:00.000+10:002008-02-12T23:12:00.000+10:00This comment has been removed by the author.MODERN COUNTRYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10002515402843289460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6319234041243832612.post-55949024121407032942008-02-12T10:42:00.000+10:002008-02-12T10:42:00.000+10:00Your writing being silly? I've always thought you've got quite a knack for writing, you thinking your writing being silly is purely your feeling and self doubt, not the reality. I've read a book review on Susan Irvine's "Rosehips and Crabapples" in a magazine, I've wanted to go out and get it, but have forgotten about it in my busy-ness, thanks for reminding me again, I thought that was my kind of book too. I love the look of the pretty pictures in "Australian Vintage Living". Wow! I'd love to have your weather, we've had so many weeks of mid-thirties weather, that rainy day was just such a God-send as my brother-in-law visited us from overseas that particular day and I needed to cook dinner. Cooking as you know is the last thing you want to do when it's really hot. However, the rain didn't stay too long after, the day after we had a little bit, then we're back to mid-thirties again. Enjoy your cooler weather, your sunflowers look superb!Rosy Inspirationhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16339872826202772834noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6319234041243832612.post-8680227516057453952008-02-12T02:36:00.000+10:002008-02-12T02:36:00.000+10:00Hi Angela! Sometime a blogg entry can take forever to write. Especially since I`m writing in a foreign language and sometimes it`s so hard to get the exact right tone or meening in what I am writing.

So please be very, very welcome back! I missed you!

Hugs
JeanetteJeanette Nordhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03582698238484056815noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6319234041243832612.post-2939208373909346302008-02-11T16:34:00.000+10:002008-02-11T16:34:00.000+10:00Hi Angela welcome back to Blogland. How great the v...Hi Angela welcome back to Blogland.
How great the vegie garden looks after you have had rain.
